I am READY to Say Goodbye

(WARNING to the READER: TEETH PHOTO INSIDE)

I've never noticed how messy my teeth were until I have braces - I now look back of the photo back in August 2012, and I am surprised how much it got changed.

Many of my friends have crooked teeth, and I had never felt that I need to have orthodontic treatments when I was in Taiwan. Here in States people told me that I'd lose my teeth early if I don't have the treatment...I have never said anything back, but I really don't believe that's true just because I know so many friends and family in Taiwan who have crooked teeth and never really have any problems.

According to U.S. standard and One USA Unit told me that he remembers it didn't hurt too bad, I started the orthodontic treatment and I'VE PROVED AND I AM STILL PROVING THAT HE IS SOOOOOO FULL OF S*** WRONG (he has lost part of his credibility due to that lol). It's been a painful journey and I am very glad that I am reaching the end of it.

August 2012: Braces are on. 4 teeth are pulled => January 2013: Teeth are mostly straight, and all the bite adjustments follow...and one of the wisdom teeth gets pushed out => June 2014: The orthodontist said that by end end of June if everything goes well I can have my braces removed. CROSSING MY FINGERS!

Dear Braces,

Although it's been a pain in the a$$ pleasure experience in the past 22 months, I can't wait to divorce you.

Best,
One Taiwan Unit

A Month Without You

Dear Torison, It's been a month without you. I think of you a lot, especially when I do things in the kitchen. No one helps me pick up ...
